Jim and I were able to be productive in the yard this weekend. After a nice visit with Jimmo and Annie on Saturday (and some very yummy ribs and chicken) we put together a "to do" list and got started.
First up, the front stone walkway.

Next, building the trellis outside our bedroom door on the front porch.
Admittedly it looks kinda "blah" now but will eventually be filled with beautiful fragrant white flowers.

In other news:
Hastings is the proud owner of FOUR teeth. She's crawling and "cruising" everywhere and her new favorite toy is an empty water bottle. She had her first week of ISR (Infant Swim) class last week and loved it. No crying! The instructor was very impressed that she was able to roll over and float with very little assistance by day 4.
I finally went to the doctor last week and learned that I am highly allergice to grass, weeds, dust, trees, fruit (peaches, bananas, apples, melons, etc.) and DOGS. Poor Dixie is going to have to become an outside(ish) dog.
We are so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors up on the mountain.
