Lake Guntersville or Bust?

Jim has been dying to get the boat in the water since pulling it out of the garage last weekend. Me, Jim, Hastings, and our friends Josh and Rebecca headed down the mountain this morning for, what we thought would be, a great day of boating. 30 minutes later we arrive at beautiful Lake Guntersville and are greeted with 70 degrees and a nice breeze. Jim and Josh get the boat in the water while I lube up the baby with sunscreen, then load onto the boat and we're off!!! oh wait, not so fast, the boat won't start. ( It worked in our driveway last weekend)

So the guys think it's the battery...

nope

Perhaps the wiring...

no such luck - that would be too easy

So we take the boat out of the water and over to Guntersville Boat Mart, where we're told they can't even look at it for another week - boo.

4 sad adults, and 1 sad baby head back to Huntsville feeling unfulfilled (boating wise)

Not 30 minutes after we get home the mechanic calls from Guntersville boat mart to tell us there is a breaker on the engine, he flipped it and the boat cranked immediately! Such an easy fix, if we would have only known. (Go ahead, ask Jim how the breaker got tripped in the first place....I dare you)

Oh well, here's hoping tomorrows trip goes better. Heck, just getting off the dock would be a vast improvement!
