Here's what "The 'Roo" can do!

Hastings (or "The Hasteroo" if you know her well) has suddenly blossomed into this little person! She understands and communicates with us a little more each day. Here are some of the things she is doing now:

-uses baby sign language to let us know when she's hungry or wants more of something
-when you ask her what a doggy says, she'll say "woof woof"'
-gives kisses and hugs
-waves and says "hi" and "bye bye"
-when you tell her to give Dixie a hug and a kiss she will put an arm around the dog, lean in and wait for a lick
-points to her nose and her belly button when asked where they are
-when we ask where her baby is, she will find her baby doll and bring it to you (and if you start singing "rock-a-bye baby" she will sway with the baby in her arms) If you tell her to feed the baby she will go find the little baby bottle and put it up to the baby's mouth.
-when she hears music, or you say the word "dance", she will start stomping her feet and sway from side to side
-when you tell her to "go make cookies" she'll walk into her playroom and get the fake cookies out of the oven
-when you tell her get her purse she'll pick it up and put it over one arm and walk around (it's WAY cute)

We are just amazed at how fast she's growing and learning! Oh, and she's got ELEVEN teeth!
