Every Sunday morning I wake up early and race to the driveway to grab the Sunday paper.. I’m really only interested in the coupons booklets; RiteAid, Walgreens, CVS ads; and the publix penny coupon…and Jim likes the Sports Section and BestBuy ad. Anyway, so then I spend about 2 hours planning my shopping trips for the day. The goal? Spend less than $50 OOP (out of pocket) for the weeks groceries, toiletries, etc. Here’s how it went down today:

are those all the groceries you bought or just sale stuff? just curious b/c i would need to add eggs, milk, bread, meat, fruit and veggies... i'm very impressed that you took the time to type all of this out!
ReplyDeleteWe buy our meat in bulk at Costco every other month(Ground Beef, Pork Chops, Chicken) and we get tons of shrimp/tuna steaks, etc. from my parents down at the beach. Milk, eggs and bread we buy every 2 weeks. I buy frozen green giant veggies when they're on sale and stock up (we have approx. 20 packages of them in the deep freezer right now). Sadly we dont buy many fresh fruits b/c they always seem to go bad before we actually eat them...
